PAG Meeting 26th October
- The 96 Year 9 students what schools have the come from? That is a 40% increase compared to last year.
- Is there a need to run a sports tournament between Taste of St Johns day and Open day. Where we invite the year 8’s to register on line. In Rugby, Football, basketball and ???
- Is the Bishop aware of the large numbers of families leaving Reignier and not going to Catholic Schools.
- Conor spoke about the Old Boys trust and about a future meeting of the Trustees.
- Peter suggested that we use Facebook as a method of advertising. He was going to investigate how much it would cost and how we could target a demographic.
- Website- Conor proposed that we come up with a template of what we would want on a web page
- Eg colour , features etc.
- A suggestion was made for a father and Son sports Day. Called a Memory builder. Maybe it could be a 4pm after school one day and the next morning we have the Father and Son Breakfast.
- To lift our promotion in the paper next years Year 10 English class is going to write some articles. Sport articles to go to Grant for editing and Conor to edit other ones about service/spiritual/leadership and cultural. Conor to look to establish a relationship with someone in the paper.
- A discussion was held about contributing factors to last years low roll.
